Geraldine @ 26months +

1) Whenever we got angry at her when she did something naughty, she will kiss us on the mouth and says 'Sorry Mummy/Daddy' follow by 'I love you, Mummy/Daddy.' smiling at us so sweetly.... my heart just melt at that. Thus, she is always forgiven.
2) Her favorite phase, 'What's that sound?' refering to the Chinese New Year song playing in the background of AMK Hub carpark.
3) Whenever we drive to AMK Hub and she saw the Chinese New Year Deco at the main entrance, she will shout 'See see, Chinese New Year.' Just the last weekend, when she saw the New Year deco and she told me, 'Mummy, I like Chinese New Year.' I wonder what she likes since she didn't get to eat more tibits than usual but she definitely got more Ang Bao...haha..Mummy and Daddy will keep it save for her in our account.
4) Whenever Geraldine says 'Sorry Mummy.' usually I will say 'It's o.k, Geraldine.' So one fine day, I accidentally drop her toys, I said 'Sorry Geraldine.' and she replied me ' It's o.k, Mummy.' so cute...
5) New words she's been saying 'Crocodile, dinosaur, zebra, giraffe, hippo, dolphin, lizard, Library, fire engine, Rosie (Caillou's baby sister), tomatoes, button mushroom, delicious, cheese cake, Chinese New Year, Santa Claus, Barbie, radio, policeman, hide and seek. Just today I heard her singing the first few sentences of old MacDonald had a farm!'

6) She has been watching Leapfrog 'Letter Factory' and she knows all the A to Z phonics even before some of the letter came up.

7) She love her ice-cream, blueberries, strawberries and Pistachios nuts. Veggie, hardboiled egg & mushroom as morning breakfast is still her first love.
8) She will be starting her childcare classes this Friday. I hope she likes it there and can get along with the kids and teachers.
9) Her Mandarin is quite limited, she still insist on replying in English whenever we speak to her in Mandarin. Maybe when she start classes, she will accept mandarin and starts to speak more of it.

Ice-cream Play Doh set

Daddy had to go back to work today, Geraldine was crying at the balcony looking down at her Daddy driving away. So to distract her, I told her I got new toy for her and immediately she told me 'I want to play toy'. So I took out the new ice-cream play dough set that we got for her last year X'mas.

She was very exciting over this new toy and try her hands creating the ice-cream swirl.

She prefer taking bits and pieces of the dough and putting them into the cup and cone rather than using the mould.

Our final products... I only let her use the pink and white dough. Didn't want to get too messy using too many colors. When I woke up this morning, she told me,'I love ice-cream. I want to play... fun!'

Geraldine and her KaKa

Soleha will be flying home next week. I hope Geraldine can get used to her childcare with Cambridge and not missing her KaKa when she is not around. But given Geraldine's character, I know she will have a hard time adjusting where she doesn't have the full attention like what her KaKa is giving her now. Plus, both she and Soleha has a pretty strong bonding. I hope she will not cry for her KaKa when she is gone. I'm going to miss Soleha too and get use to not having a maid around to help out with the household chores. Not to mentioned I have to prepare dinner every evening when I pick Geraldine from childcare. Bet I will slim down even more...haha

My Mischievous Gal

Daddy was in Asterdam for the past few days...To make up to Geraldine, I brought her to AMK Hub for her kiddy rides. I just can't resist her pretty pleases when she says them and spent $3 just for her rides!

Back home

Mum moved back to her Bedok Reservior home. It's so nice to come back after 2 years since my beloved Grandma passed away. I feel comfortable going back to our old nest. Geraldine loves it too!! She's busy running around in the living room and kitchen.

Gelyang East Library

We have been bringing her to the library at least once a week for the past 1 month to cultivate her reading habits. So far she don't really read the books, she prefer running around and looking at other children. While we were at the library tonight, she said 'Excuse me' to a Uncle who is blocking her way. The Uncle laugh and look at us....haha...cutie...every single thing she does we we find it cute and adorable except when she throws her temper.

Caillou, a story about a little boy is her favorite cartoon now. She can watch the same dvd over and over again, from the moment she opens her eyes every morning, she will says'Mummy, I want Caillou' and every night when she is home. We can memorise all the stories now. She is learning to sing the Caillou song too.

Standing outside with my mouth open wide....arh arh arh arh arh arh arh.... If all the rain drops are lemon drops and gumdrops, oh what a rain that will be. For 2nd half of this song, there are too many lengthy words that I'm still trying to get it right.

And I can count from One to Twenty now. I love going to NTUC as I get to see crabs and prawns swimming in the tank. Plus I get to play in the toys section too. Love this elephant and hope my mummy will get it for me....please....

CNY 2nd day

I went to visit my PoPo today...wearing the very red chinese wear that PoPo bought for me. Ddin't get to do much visiting coz Mummy has been very busy with work since Sat.
Mummy has been working the whole day at home. Feeling guilty that they didn't bring me anywhere during the long break, we drove to River Ang Bao in the evening but it was too crowded! In the end, Daddy and Mummy compensate by bringing me to Novena Sq for my Barney ride .

CNY first day

My mummy was busy today coz of her system upgrade testing so we only went out to Nai Nai house. I'm home entertaining myself since mummy has no time for me.

Reunion Dinner

Cedric's birthday party at Explorer Kids

We are on the way for DiDi Cedric's 1 year old birthday at Explorer Kids. Daddy brought Yan En along for the party too!We are both very excited! This is my 2nd time to the indoor playground and Yan En's first time!

Hungry gals after all the activities! We are so tired after all the running and climbing. Mummy and KaKa are super tired!Coz they are the ones who did all the climbing and carrying to help me and Mei Mei get to the top of the slides. Mummy even injured her elbow and knee when going down the slides and she dare not try the slides again. Luckily, my KaKa had so much fun and is very willing to go down with me countless times....
