Geraldine's Barney

This is Geraldine's first picture of Barney. She drew the body all by herself. Daddy only help in drawing the eyes. Not bad for her first try.

First Train set

Daddy bought Geraldine a train set. She was fascinated at first but when the train starts moving and making the 'choo choo' sound, she got scared. She really is a little scary cat...every little things frightens her.

MMR + Chickepox vacination jab

Took Geraldine for her MMR + Chicken pox vaccination and she came down with fever. Here is the mischievous girl insisting on feeding her own water after taking her medicine.

Barbie playground set

We have been walking round and round the United Square Toy 'r' Us trying to decide what to get her for her birthday. Mummy wanted to get her a big kitchen set but Daddy is against the idea saying she has a lot of cooking set already. Wanted to get her a tea set and again got rejected. So in the end, the Barbie playground set caught Mummy's eyes and Geraldine also grab on to it not letting go. So here she is playing with it at home. She is still a bit too young to handle the small parts but that doesn't prevent her from having lots of fun.

Bottle Tree

Since we are in the vicinity, decided to drop by Bottle Tree for fish feeding.

Hungry hungry fishes.... A very happy Geraldine enjoying the time with Daddy. She is pretty sticky to her Daddy now. Always wanting him to carry her and giving him many kisses. Her 'I love Daddy' is louder and with more enthusiasm than her 'I love Mummy'. It is good that both of them have a really close bond.

Sesame Street

Bought Geraldine to North Point to catch the Sesame Street. She was pretty excited when she first saw the characters.

But after a while, she she got bored as the songs are not catchy. We find the show more suitable got older kids. She prefer the Barney show more as she can sing along and dance to the music.

Merry Shopping!! Ho Ho Ho...

Went Orchard Road tonight planning to catch the X'mas lighting and take some pics. But end up shopping instead. Daddy got himself 2 new pair of jeans from Unico, Geraldine got a new V-tech laptop and mummy got herself a new dress from Coats.... haha.... everyone got something! What a merry X'mas!

Learning ABC

Geraldine's study time with Daddy learning ABC. KaKa has been teaching her to sing the ABC song and she can get almost all the 26 alphabet in the song correct now.

Geraldine 2 year old pre Birthday celebration

We celebrated Geraldine's 2 year old birthday earlier with the family today. Had Tim Sum buffet at 7th Storey at Marina Barrage. Dressed her in a really pretty new Gymboree dress didn't manage to get her picture and she throw up after eating too much of the Tim Sum. Sigh... thus, have to dress her in cousin Isabelle's clothings. See her stern face... Seasame Street birthday cake from Pine Garden. Everyone was really excited when they see the colour birthday cake!!! Especially the kids!

Barney Show at United Square

We were so lucky that Auntie Serena was there earlier to queue and get the front row seats at the show.Only me, Mei Mei and Kaka managed to get in and sits with Celeste Jie Jie and Auntie Serena. Mummy and Daddy had to stand outside the stands.

Luckily, Serena manage to took the kids picture during the show. I was too far back to take a clear pictures of the kids. Serena told me Geraldine enjoy the show the most! We are so glad to bring her here and meet her idol...Barney of course! And not Auntie Serena....haha

Morning walk at Bishan park

We pick up PoPo Shifu for her usual morning Bishan Park exercise session. Geraldine is always looking forward to seeing her PoPo on Saturdays.

It is nice to bring her out just for a short walk to breathe in the morning fresh air.
After her morning walk, is her morning play time in the pool. She is still wary of water and dare not venture deeper into the pool.

Hougang NTUC Extra

Geraldine is just happy enough to go goccery shopping. Just like Daddy, NTUC will keep her happy.

What is your name?

We have been asking Geraldine what is your name? And she will answer 'Geraldine'. What is mummy's name and she says ' Jacqueline' and what is Daddy's name, she got it' Chee Hon'. YeYe's name, and she answers 'Kai Min'. We are training her rememeber the name of the rest of the family.

Money Money

Geraldine: 'Mummy, Mummy, I want money.'
Mummy: 'Geraldine, why you want money?'
Geraldine: 'I want money buy things.'
Mummy: 'You want money buy what things?'
Geraldine: 'I want money buy toys.'
Geraldine: 'I got money. Put money, in pocket.Keep'...haha and then she ran off.

Noti piglet in diaper??

We have been trying to toilet train Geraldine but so far no success. She has been holding off till we put on the diaper for her during nap time before she let go of her urgency. But one thing she learn from her training is to toilet train her piglet too! She will take out her changing mat, take out the diaper cream and pretend to apply the diaper cream on her piglet. After that, she will ask her piglet to 'move up backside' while she put the diaper under piglet and then process to put on the diaper for piglet. After all is done, she will tell her piglet, 'Pupu, beat beat. Naughty, beat beat. No toys!' It's so cute, exactly like what her KaKa scold her when she pu pu in her panties without telling her KaKa. Then she will walk off leaving her piglet on the bed, turn back and say, 'Noti piglet. No toys!' Her expression is so cute! She act like she is really angry with her piglet! haha

My very own cleaning set

Wow! Mummy got me my very own cleaning set! Yippee!

Doesn't it looks cool. I have been helping my KaKa clean the house and having lots of fun!

Geraldine's very own Sesame Street Book

I received a really wonderful and thoughful gift from one of my US colleague Jan. She sent over this Sesame Street story book with Geraldine as the main character in the book. We can find Geraldine in almost every page and the story line revolves around Geraldine.

She is delighted to find herself in the book and being involved in the story with the Big Bird and Elmo.

It definietly makes for interesting reading and captures her attention longer than normal story books.

House warming

Today Daddy and Mummy had a simple steamboat house warming dinner for the Lok family. Everyone was here and I get to swim with my Yan En Mei Mei. Look at us having fun in the pool! This is Yan En Mei Mei's first swim.

Bishan Park

Po Po Shifu says there is exercise class at Bishan park at 9am. So we pick up PoPo Shifu and went to Bishan park where I get to run around and breathe in the morning fresh air.
