What is your name?

We have been asking Geraldine what is your name? And she will answer 'Geraldine'. What is mummy's name and she says ' Jacqueline' and what is Daddy's name, she got it' Chee Hon'. YeYe's name, and she answers 'Kai Min'. We are training her rememeber the name of the rest of the family.

Money Money

Geraldine: 'Mummy, Mummy, I want money.'
Mummy: 'Geraldine, why you want money?'
Geraldine: 'I want money buy things.'
Mummy: 'You want money buy what things?'
Geraldine: 'I want money buy toys.'
Geraldine: 'I got money. Put money, in pocket.Keep'...haha and then she ran off.

Noti piglet in diaper??

We have been trying to toilet train Geraldine but so far no success. She has been holding off till we put on the diaper for her during nap time before she let go of her urgency. But one thing she learn from her training is to toilet train her piglet too! She will take out her changing mat, take out the diaper cream and pretend to apply the diaper cream on her piglet. After that, she will ask her piglet to 'move up backside' while she put the diaper under piglet and then process to put on the diaper for piglet. After all is done, she will tell her piglet, 'Pupu, beat beat. Naughty, beat beat. No toys!' It's so cute, exactly like what her KaKa scold her when she pu pu in her panties without telling her KaKa. Then she will walk off leaving her piglet on the bed, turn back and say, 'Noti piglet. No toys!' Her expression is so cute! She act like she is really angry with her piglet! haha

My very own cleaning set

Wow! Mummy got me my very own cleaning set! Yippee!

Doesn't it looks cool. I have been helping my KaKa clean the house and having lots of fun!

Geraldine's very own Sesame Street Book

I received a really wonderful and thoughful gift from one of my US colleague Jan. She sent over this Sesame Street story book with Geraldine as the main character in the book. We can find Geraldine in almost every page and the story line revolves around Geraldine.

She is delighted to find herself in the book and being involved in the story with the Big Bird and Elmo.

It definietly makes for interesting reading and captures her attention longer than normal story books.
Thank you so much Auntie Jan and my new friend Kiera. This is really a great gift! I'm having much fun reading this book with my Mummy & Daddy.

House warming

Today Daddy and Mummy had a simple steamboat house warming dinner for the Lok family. Everyone was here and I get to swim with my Yan En Mei Mei. Look at us having fun in the pool! This is Yan En Mei Mei's first swim.

Bishan Park

Po Po Shifu says there is exercise class at Bishan park at 9am. So we pick up PoPo Shifu and went to Bishan park where I get to run around and breathe in the morning fresh air.

Care Bear

We were at AMK Hub having breakfast 2 days after we moved and happened to bump into Auntie Serena, Uncle Mark, Celeste jie jie and Zen gor gor. Zen gor gor was so nice and gave me this really cute Care Bear for our meeting :-) I like this bear, thanks Zen gor gor (Auntie Serena)!

My messy girl

After a day of hard work running around the new house, we rewarded her with ice-cream .See how messy she gets! She weighs almost 15kg now. So heavy that it hurt my back to carry her sometimes.

Last weekend before we move

First time we brought Geraldine to the new house. She was so happy and kept running around, shouting her excitement. We ask her if she like her new house, she say, 'I like!'

She loves these Ikea chairs and table. We can see that she will spend much time playing and writting here. Matches her pink room.

X'mas Tree at Ikea

Went to Ikea to get Geraldine a set of pink table and chairs for her room. Here she is fascinated by the decorative items on the Christmas trees.

Geraldine's progress

1) YeYe was telling us that Geraldine is very willing to share toys with her little cousin Gabbie (1 yr old) unlike a few months ago when Geraldien is with Yan En, she is not willing to share and is always snatching toys from Yan En. At least this show as she grows up, her nature is not selfish.

2) She is getting to be more and more talkative. She can talk almost non-stop when she is in the mood. We can understand more and more what she is saying now. Her favorite phrase ' Mummy, Daddy, KaKa, cat, dog...Where are you?' ' I'm tired', 'Mummy come now', 'I want mum mum', 'Wait, I put on myself', 'Wait I want to change disc', Wait, I keep this', 'Wait I draw fishball/Banana..etc', 'I want to play this', 'I want swim', 'Go swimming pool', 'I want ice-cream, yakult', 'Take picture, cheese'...etc

3) She is starting to pick up songs and singing 'Twinkle twinkle little stars, Fishes fishes where are you, Rain Rain go away, Baby can Read ' Head, shoulder, knees and toes' song and also Ni Wa Wa'.

4) She can brush her own teeth quite well now. We taught her to gurgle after brushing so far she will hold the water in the mouth and then spit it out.

5) She can draw with both hands right now and we notice she tends to favor her left hand more. Nneed to correct her on that and make her use her right hand for writting.

6) She can take off her own top by herself now and is learning to put on the top by herself but still unable to manage. She also tries to put on her own socks, think it won't be easy task since her feet is quite plump.... haha.

7) She loves climbing the stairs in our new house. She can go up and down non stop and not feeling tired at all.

8) She can name all the items in her small booklet of Fruits, Colors and Vegetables by identifying the pictures. We need to work harder to get her to identify them by words.

Dining area, didn't do anything here except for false ceiling.
Guest room, this cupboard consist of a wardrode and hiding our store room behide the doors.

Common toilet - have to redo the whole toilet as the previous conditions was pretty bad.Our master bedroom wardrode in tempered glass.Daddy's wardrode corner with full length mirror hiding at the left corner on pull out system, drawers and pigeons holes for his ties.
Bedroom balcony, we are still looking for for cheap and good outdoor chairs for relaxation. Thinking of putting some plants here.

Her favorites

10 of her favorite things:
1) Going to the swimming pool and splashing around.
2) Cooking up a storm with her KaKa and Mei Mei
3) She loves to dance to her Barney songs every night before she sleeps.
4) Ikan Bilis that 'Sheng Sheng' bought for her and Yan En. She will call to her KaKa 'Ikan Bilis, please.' whenever it's time to eat her meals. Just the other day, YeYe gave her some Ikan Bilis and at the same time pour some for himself. Geraldine quickly says 'YeYe, enough, enough, cover cover.'
5) Her favorite Baby show is still Barney, follow by Baby Can Read and Dora. Movies on the list is 'The Pacifier'.
6) Favorite fruits, Apple, Banana, Grapes, Strawberries, Avocado. She loves Udon too!
7) She loves playing in the Thomas the Train ball pit and she likes to drag me and Daddy in to sit with her!
8) Sometimes, she like to comb my hair for me. She likes touching my finger nails after I went for my manicure, think she is curious over the bright colors.
9) She loves to snuggle close to Daddy and mummy when she is sleeping.
10) She still loves to take her wet tissue and goes around the house wiping the floor and tables. Don't worry girl, you will have a good time cleaning after we move house...haha.
