Marina Barrage

Arrived at Marina Barrage. When Gerladine saw the water fountain, she was so excited, keeps pointing, shouting and running towards it....

This is cool!! At this point in time, Geraldine is overly excited and giddy with happiness...

What a marvellous time we had! We are so glad we brought Geraldine here. She had so much fun!

At the Zoo

After the morning fun at Ikea, we decide to bring Geraldine to the Zoo. She really loves it. She was shouting at pointing at white tiger, not to say she gets overly excited when she saw fishes in the water. Daddy have signed up for the membership so we will be bringing her here at least once a month.

Fun at Ikea

Geraldine had a fun time at Ikea, it's like a hugh playground for her. Things she picks up:

1) Nobody taught her this, notice a couple of days ago she knows how to position herself and put her legs down first when she wants to get down from our high masterbed. Smart Gal!

2) When I say 'No' to Geraldine firmly, she will look at me first then start talking to me like asking for permission. But she will not do what she is not suppose to do unless I say o.k. Very cute...hehe

Christmas Party at Auntie Brenda's house

Geraldine had her first X'mas party at Auntie Brenda's house. She is having fun playing at the water fountain & making friends with Ashley.

First taste of Yakult

Things she picked up:
1) Geraldine start to walk a couple of steps by herself last week. She is moving around and putting her hands on stuff, especially the kitchen oven button! We have a busy time ahead of us now.
2) When she wants to be carried, she will pat us on the legs and put her head on our thighs.
3) Taught her to identify ears, eyes and nose, so far when we say 'er dou', she will points to her ears.
4) When we say 'where is the aeroplane?', she will point to the sky. Or if a plane fly by, she will look up & point to the sky.
5) When we say wipe mummy's face, she will take a tissue and push it to my nose.

Lunch Team X'mas celebration

Our lunch group had a little pre-X'mas celebration. Thank you Vennie for the yummy Mango logcake. Not to mentioned the really nice chocolate Fondue with marshmallows - idea from Yvette. Only managed to took pics of Fern and Yvette, the rest of the group members are busy eating??

Outing at East Coast Park

Brought Geraldine to the East Park today. She's really happy as this is the first time we put her to walk on the ground outside the house. Once her feet touch the ground, and with Daddy holding her hands she is off like a rocket, exploring her surroundings. When Daddy wanted to carry her Geraldine screams and wants to put down to walk. She had fun at the beach, we will bring her out for more beach outings. Hope she will learnt how to walk by herself pretty soon.

Geraldine & Her Barney

What has captured Geraldine's undivided attention? Well, its the purple creature called 'Barney'. Whenever Barney is on, her eyes will be glued to the TV set. With Barney's help, we manage to take a break.

At the Frog/ Fish Farm

At the Frog and Fish Farm, Geraldine getting excited especially when the fishes swim near, splashing around.

At the Goat Farm

Geraldine turned 1 year old today. Daddy brought us to the Goat Farm at Lim Chu Kang. Too bad we didn't get to feed the goats as they are undergoing health checks. Nevertheless, when Geraldine saw the goats, she got really excited and keeps pointing at them.

First taste of goat milk for the whole family. We tried chocolate milk, not too bad, tasted like cow's milk. Geraldine loves it!

Neat hair finally!

I have been searching to get her a hair band to tame down her hair before her Birthday. Finally found one! Doesn't she look adorable in it. The bad hair days are over for my little Angel.

New Things she learnt:

1) When I point to flower, say 'Hua' she repeated after me twice 'Hua'.

2) When she does not get what she wants, screaming is her way of communicating her displeasure. We are hoping to change this behaviour.

3) Sometimes, she sings in her baby language when we turn on the radio in the car.

4) She is getting clearer in her pronunciation of 'Daddy'.

5) When we say sayang 'Daddy' or 'Mummy' she will reach out her hand and pat us on our shoulders.

6) When we say feed Daddy / Mumy, she will feed us her Gerber snacks.

7) Don't know who she picks it up from, whenever she has a piece of tissue in her hands, she will wipe the tables, car seat etc. When we say Geraldine wipe n she will do it. We have a little cleaner in the house...heee

Trying out the Tricycle

Geraldine loves the tricycle that belongs to Cousin Isabelle. Have been thinking to get her one, but think it's better to get one after we moved.
