Birds Watch

Bought Geraldine out to Compass Point today and on the way she saw her favorite animals 'Birds'.She kept laughing and pointing to them, getting herself all excited. For the past few days, when after I reached home after work, she will point outdoor indicating she wants to go out for her Bird Watch session.

Sunday morning trip to Extra

It's a beautiful Sunday and its time for NTUC extra shopping. Geraldine with her favorite Gerber snacks. Once she has a bottle in her hands, she never lets it go. Her hair has grown longer the past week and they are all up in the air, I wonder when they will finally comes down. We also noticed she put on some weight this week, at last she has a little tummy showing...

New things she learnt

'Bye Bye' - She will hold out her hand with her palm up wanting us to hold her hand.

'Shake hand' - She will hold out her hand to be touch.

My Little Punky Gal

No matter how hard I tried to comb Geraldine's hair down, it just goes all up again after a while... see her punk hair style is back. Since Geraldine picks up the word 'Clap' from her Baby Can Read VCD, every morning when she woke up, she will start clapping (while we are still sleeping). And she will go on clapping the whole day to show she is happy. So cute... well at least we know she is a happy baby.

New Sunglass

Here she is wearing the sunglasses from Gymboree...looks like a small little auntie...haha. A couple of days ago when Daddy was singing to her, she tried to sing in her own baby language.... we find it really funny.....

Happy Shiny Whites

Happy Geraldine, she is always smiling and showing her 4 white teeth. I hope more will be growing soon. We let her tried out a tiny bit of Haagen Dazs ice-cream and she loves it.

Geraldine's First Birthday Present

Auntie Brenda gave Geraldine her first Birthday present and her birthday is 2 months later! Geraldine is trying to open her present, I have to guide her along. After unwrapping, she is so happy and keep pressing the buttons, giving me a hard time getting her toy phone out from the box. Thank you so much Auntie Brenda :-)

My Little Boy?

Geraldine's hair has grown so long and all standing up that we decide to cut her hair since its so messy. See my little gal is looking so like a boy now. Here she is watching her favorite 'Baby Can Read' VCD. We noticed that before Twinkle Twinkle Little Star comes up, Geraldine will sit up and start kicking her legs and moving her hands to the song. This is when it hits us that she actually know the sequence of the words and song that comes up in the VCD. Smart little baby gal. But her sitting posture is really not there, nowadays, this is how she sits with one leg up, we call her 'Big Boss' haha....

Finally I can clip Gerladine's fringe. Have yet to buy her any hair clips so I use my own Hello Kitty clip just to see how she looks like. She looks funny with her hair all standing up. Think better not clip her hair till her hair smooth down.

In her hands is her favorite Bananas finger snacks from Gerber. Once we take it out, she will make happy funny noises and sit properly to be fed.

Downtown East - Day 2

Back in the chalet, Geraldine is busy climbing up and down the bed.

We were having breakfast at McDonald in the chalet when it started to rain quite heavily. Since we do not have umbrella, we decided to go drive home and return to the chalet in the afternoon. See Geraldine in her favorite jumper at Tao Poyah Delifrance.

We are in our chalet room. Geraldine still very happy and excited. She keeps waving her hands and kicking... never seen her so hyper before...

We are having our chalet outing today. When we reached Downtown East, Geraldine was very happy and excited. She keep looking around and smiling at everyone she saw. Maybe the environment is new and interest her. We ate diner at Pasta Mania. She is so happy & curious, kept kicking her legs and waving her hands...

Calling Ma Ma

I have been down with Flu since last week and yet to recover and Geraldine is definietly not helping by waking up almost every hour wanting me to nurse her. She slept at 7+pm last night and woke up to play at 2am....I finally made her sleep again after 45mins of trying. Then she woke up at 6am to play with the aircon remote control...I am completely drained. But sunddebly, I heard her calling 'Ma Ma'. Makes me so happy..though it does not necessarily meant she is calling me but nevertheless she is making progress.

Learning to walk

Geraldine was able to pull herself up to standing position without any assistance from us and slowly moved herself away from the toy mobile to the other side of the cot. Look at her happy face at being able to accomplishment this.

She is enjoying the fact that now she knows how to stand and walk. Since then, she has been trying to stand & moved around whenever she has a chance.

Geraldine is having fun and trying to put whatever she can grab into her mouth. Two nights ago, when Daddy was eating tibits in bed, she climb over to him and keep saying mumm... mumm.... she now knows mumm mumm meant food.
