Daddy bought Geraldine a new fish tank and some small fishes as her birthday present. Both kids are really excited and keep wanting to feed their fishes :-)
We went on 3D2N stay since Ryan is still pretty young to travel and would definietly exhaust everyone so a local hotel stay makes more sense.
Ryan took some time to go near to the water
Geraldine went on the roller coaster ride more than 15 times, boat ride 5 times... canopy ride 6 times, Jurassic park 5 times, merry - go - round 4 times...Mummy had never taken so many rides in a day!!
Got a really yummy strawberry cheese ice cream cake from Ice Cube. Simply delicious! Ryan couldn't even wait for the birthday song and is already digging in with his little spoon.
Forgot we need to help Geraldine make a lantern out of recycled materials for her school Mooncake Festival celebration. Daddy search through the web for ideas but we have no materials! Luckily, Mummy remember we have a bottle of 7up and with 2 drawing board cardboard, we made this pretty butterfly lantern! Yeah! And it was one of lantern selected to be display at school entrance for all to see!
At 20 months, Ryan is speech is slower compared to Geraldine. But he is very fast picking up alphabet recognition and phonics skills. He recognises 'A, B, C, D, E, N, P, U, Z' and is able to sound out 'A, B, C, D, H, M, N, O, S, T, Z'.
Got his hair cut today....Ryan slept through the whole process. Good boy! Makes it so much easier to cut his hair.
Daddy drove around and discovered a nice spot at Garden by the Bay where we got front view of the Nation Day fireworks. Beautiful! Geraldine loves the fireworks whilst Ryan was a big wearily due to the loud 'bombing' sound
